- Born in Kyoto.
- 1982
- Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts.
Won award at the new artists Show. ( participated every year until `03 ) - 1983
- Won Award at the " Kyoto art Show ".
3 artists group show until `07 together with Keiko Inokuma and Ayumi Matsuike. - 1984
- Graduated from Graduate School at the same University.
Won award at the Nihonga show at the Tokyo Central Art Museum. ( participated in `86,`88 ) - 1985
- Won at the " award show " at Yamatane Museum of Art. ( participated in 87,95,97 )
- 1986
- Won award at the "Tatsuko Kawabata show".
- 1989
- Won next generation artist award at the " Contemporary female artists show".
( participates every year since) - 1990
- Participated in the " Orient and Occident Show.
- 1991
- Won the Kyoto Shimbun Nihonga artist prize.
- 2000
- Solo show at Zokyudo Gallery. ( after this,continuing every 2 years )
- 2003
- Won the members prize at the 30th New artists show.
- 2005
- Won prize at the 6th Tatehiko Suga Show.
- 2015
- solo show in Domoto Museum titled 'Kyoto contemporary artist exhibition - Ajisa Kitano -'
